2 Dragon Riders…..
While playing Simurgh, I was using my Dragon Riders to go about the wilds to complete objectives, travel on exploration tiles, and gather resources. In this particular game, I had a couple of Dragons to use their special abilities at optimal points in the game. If you haven’t heard of or played Simurgh than I suggest you give it a try. It is a very nice medium level worker placement game set in a very cool universe with Spearmen and Dragon Riders. The game has a couple unique mechanisms that make it stand out from the rest. Multiple end game conditions adds a nice balance and adds replayability. The decision about adding tiles to the wilds where other players may benefit from them as well, adds some good interaction and makes for some very agonizing decisions. I have yet to win this game but I really like playing it.
