Bravery in the Sand is a 2-player game that covers the major part of the battle known as Operation Crusader in North Africa during World War II. Covering the period from November 20 to December 3, 1941, players assume the roles of the Axis and Commonwealth generals to determine who will be victorious in this battle. One player controls the Commonwealth force (British, South African, New Zealand, and Indian), and the other player the Axis force (German and Italian). Players activate formations via chit draw, and combat is of the roll-to-hit variety. Includes rules for battlefield recovery, replacements, fortifications, Rommel and more.

Hi David. I am sorry that you found the video unhelpful and annoying. This was a free video for you that you don’t have to watch or agree with. While I think you might be dealing with something else in your life right now that I hope you are able to overcome, I suggest you back away from the keyboard and take a breath. There are more important things in the world that you should be concerned with not about the use of a word in an unscripted, unedited 15 minute video on an obscure magazine/poly bag game that you most likely have never heard of, seen a video on or would have known about had Alexander not taken time out of his life to create. If you would like to send me a nickle we will compensate ourselves for the time needed to edit the video up to your standard. Thank you.

Hi Grant – you response it a bit OTT (but then again so was mine I guess) .
Nothing personal but there has been an eruption of the use of the word ‘like’ and ‘basically’ (that is another bug bear) I just feel it is dumbing down the English language.
May comments were meant as feedback but you are free to ignore them.
I like your site and videos
Regards
David

I get it. I think that use of the word like is creeping into the language and into everyday use. I am sorry for the response but I think I’m going through some stress with life and work and it touched off a fuse for me. We do this because we love it and see it as a service. Our stuff is not perfect, without error or challenges as we don’t claim to know everything about wargames. But we do it because we want people to know these small corners of the hobby. Thank you for watching and reading and I hope you continue to do so. Thanks.
