Not our typical gaming choice but we had an interesting experience with 1944: Race to the Rhine from PHALANX. The game is about building routes from the rear to the front and pressing your advantage against the Germans as you try to move through France and cross the Rhine River. Play as one of three Allied commanders in Bradley, Patton or Montgomery.

A very interesting game- have had three playthroughs of my mate’s game. Would happily play it again so that must be a good sign.
