Recently Alexander was able to play around with Valkyrie from DVG and shoot a preview video for their current Kickstarter campaign.
Valkyrie is a fast-paced miniatures solitaire board game played on a map. Each game takes roughly 15 minutes to setup and 1 to 2 hours to play.
You command a mix of giant Valkyries striding across the battlefield with your supporting elements of real-world military vehicles like M1 Abrams and T-80 tanks, Strykers, infantry, and more. Each nation fields its own unique mix of Valkyries and conventional vehicles.

Hey Alexander, Great review! I remember coming onboard with this game around three years ago, on its first try. Great sandbox game! I’ve already backed it on KS.*** I wanted to say THANKS for your review of “Rifles in the Ardennes” . I’m a solo player, but I had passed by this game and “Rifles in the Pacific”. I was very focused on some of the bigger and flashier games… “Storms of Steel”, “Awakening the Bear”, and “Armageddon Wars”. Sometimes you have to confront the type of game player you are and see what will end up on the “table”. As I watched your review, I realized these two games (Ardennes and Pacific) would get played and be enjoyed right away, and often, while the Academy and Flying Pig Games would entail a lot more effort. I ordered both Ardennes and Pacific and hope to get a lot of players from both of them. Thanks again, for exploring smaller game companies. I would have missed out on both of these games if not for your review. Thanks again!
