The March 2022 Debrief Video sees us discussing our thoughts on the opposite of last month’s topic of Too Big to Play Wargames as we take a look at Short Wargames.
Also as usual, we covered the games we played in March and discussed our recent trip to St. Louis for Basement Con II with some good friends where we played some very long, but very good, wargames.
Finally, we discussed that we have attracted a high quality sponsor for our Monthly Debrief Video Series in Noble Knight Games. The folks at NKG have provided us with the discount code PLAYAID to give users 5% off any purchase.

Thanks for this, Gents. Took me a while to get through. Loooooong!
We didn’t care for Undaunted: Normandy. Good game, good strategy, not enough meat for us. I traded it for Gloom Jaws of the Lion, which I haven’t looked at yet.
Games I wish you’d covered that fit your bill:
Atlantic Chase, in my humble opinion, the most revolutionary, tense, and fun game to date. Talk about Fog of War!!!
Worthington’s French and Indian War. Good and quick and whole different kind of strategy. Time is so important; timing moreso.
Finally, Shores of Tripoli. Card and dice dependent, but great fun. Cannot really say what I like about this over Undaunted, since it’s so much simpler. Perhaps I just expect less from the period.
Keep up the good work, Gents.
