Volume VI in the Battles of the Old Northwest Series from High Flying Dice Games, Walking a Bloody Path looks at the Battle of Fallen Timbers, which was the last major conflict of the Northwest Territory Indian War between Native Americans and the United States. At the battle, near present-day Toledo, Ohio, General Anthony Wayne led U.S. troops to victory over a confederation of Indian warriors whose leaders included Chief Blue Jacket of the Shawnee and Chief Little Turtle of the Miami.
We published an interview on the blog with the designer Paul Rohrbaugh and you can read that at the following link: https://theplayersaid.com/2019/05/15/interview-with-paul-rohrbaugh-designer-of-walking-a-bloody-path-the-battle-of-fallen-timbers-august-20-1794-from-high-flying-dice-games/

This game looks like it has a lot of promise. Ever since the publication of “Navajo Wars”, seemingly so long ago, by gamer’s time lines, a handful of smart designers have brought us great games concerning native Americans… Blood on the Ohio, Pontiac’s War, and Commanceria. Very excited to find new game mechanics and themes. BRAVO!

Game presents an overview of the battle and the general situation. Difficult to gain insight or duplicate the historical situation but fun to play once the system is down pat.
