Caesar: Rome vs. Gaul is a 2-player card-driven game on Caesar’s conquest of Gaul between 57-52BC. One player plays Caesar as he attempts to gain wealth and fame in Gallia at the expense of the Gauls. The other player controls all the independent tribes of Gaul as they slowly awake to the peril of Roman conquest. The game uses many of the core rules and systems used in Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage. Players are dealt 8 cards at the start of each turn and use their cards to move their armies and place control markers. Players familiar with Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage will quickly learn this game.

Great unboxing — this one is on my wish list. Just picked up a copy of Space Empires 4x on your recommendation. So many games, so little time… Cheers!

My copy’s sitting in a post box in Blaine, Washington until the border is opened again, but I can’t wait to actually unbox it myself!
Played two games on VASSAL and I really do like this game a lot.
