Normandy: The Beginning of the End is a standalone game in the War Storm Series that recreates the events of the battles of the D-Day Invasion in Normandy, France on the American beaches at a tactical level. Players take command of either the Allied or Axis forces (or can play solitaire) in the tactical battles of each scenario. The game system utilizes the “Paths to Hell” standard rules, incorporates new and adapted rules and additions for this new front.

Alexander… Loved the unboxing. Normally, D-Day games leave me a bit numb… but this one looks like they put some serious thought into it. The maps are pretty ambitious, the counters are excellent, and the different scenarios remind me of PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader (AH). As always … looking forward to your review…
