2024 was another fantastic and very busy year of gaming for us and we wanted to take a look back at some of what we did, played and experienced in 2024 in this Retrospective video! But, we also to shared our thoughts and created some discussion here about some very interesting trends and changes that we saw in the wargaming hobby in 2024. So welcome to our musings as we take a retrospective look back at 2024.
For a bit more in-depth look at my thoughts on the year, you can read my 2024 Retrospective: A Look Back at Another Wonderful and Very Busy Year of Wargaming! at the following link: https://theplayersaid.com/2025/01/03/2024-retrospective-a-look-back-at-another-wonderful-and-very-busy-year-of-wargaming/

OOH! I love “Shelf of Shame Dust-Off!” My Shelf of Shame seems to be growing, not shrinking (mostly b/c of all your recommendations leading me to make excessive purchases! haha!).
Anyway, I still need to dust-off “Dien Bien Phu” and feel great shame that it remains on the SoS since your last SoS Dust Off video (sigh).
I did purchase “Onoda” and get it on the table “muy rapido” (super fun game). I didn’t let it collect any dust!
I also need to get “Comancheria” off of my SoS!
And, now you’ve reminded me that I want to purchase “Purple Haze”!!
Thanks for the motivation, either way!
