Warfighter: The Fantasy Card Game is a card game for 1 to 6 players. You play cooperatively against the system to adventure through dungeons, slay evil monsters, and gain gold and glory! Warfighter Fantasy is a stand-alone Warfighter Series boxed game. The game includes all the Heroes, Weapons, Equipment, Dungeons, Locations, Objectives, and Hostiles you need to fully explore the fantasy setting in the Nation of Plumeria. The core game will give you a full adventuring group of Heroes and a nation’s worth of hostile creatures. Each Expansion pack adds depth and variety to your world.
Editorial Note: We played this game twice and it is a bit of a mess. We will not be doing a video review of the game and this coverage will be the only item that you see on it on the blog or the YouTube Channel. The rulebook is still not great and we just didn’t give it more of a chance after those initial plays. It just wasn’t worth the time to search through the rules to figure out aspects that should be more clear. I love the Warfighter Series generally but would comment that you will have to put work in with all of the volumes as the rules just are not great. And I am nut sure why.

Yep, this one was a bummer and the KS was a mess. For as many years it was in development it is a shame.

I really wanted to like it. And I do like the series generally but this was not worth the effort required. Real miss in our minds.

DVG Games in general is in a poor state. Their Kickstarter’s are late and they are not providing updates to the backers. They do not respond to customer inquiries sent to their website or email address. Their Facebook page is littered with people asking for help with missing components, missing games, over-charged shipping costs to the EU and other issues. Again, they seem to rarely respond. Not sure what the issue is but personally I’m not buying/backing any more of their products until I see some change or improvement. The sad part is they have people’s money and there does not seem to be a lot of recourse.
Thanks for this very frank posting. Appreciate the work you all do.

I would agree that they are not good at communications. They make good playable games (for the most part with Warfighter Fantasy being an exception) but I also am cooling on them considerably.
