Bye the way, since I know Alexander likes Air games and I think Grant likes solo games, I wanted to call your attention to 8th Air Force from Fortress Games – a solo-only game on the American strategic bombing campaign in the ETO. The presentation is only OK; but with Air Groups as the basic units and monthly turns, it enables playing the entire 2 year confrontation feasible. Obviously, the play is streamlined, but the interplay is quite satisfying. The only other game the company produces is 20th Air Force, on the strategic bombing campaign against Japan – I gather while the system is essentially the same, the dispersed nature of Japanese industry makes for a different experience. Anyway, if you have not noticed these, you should check them out.

We actually just got both of those games and are currently looking them over with the goal of playing them soonish. Thanks for the heads up.
