A few weeks ago, Fantasy Flight Games announced a new Narrative Campaign Expansion for Android: Netrunner The Card Game. The expansion is called Terminal Directive and follows the case of a serial killer who is heavily augmented, and people are beginning to suspect it’s the work of a Bioroid.  But that can’t happen, the First Directive prevents such a thing from occurring and if they can break that directive, things can get very messy very quickly.

In the campaign you will choose to be either the runner or the Corp, and that is who you will be for the entirety of the campaign.  Each side will have a deck of cards that they reveal at certain times similar to the deck inside Pandemic Legacy to give them new cards and objectives.  There are two paths you can take. Inside Terminal Directive, you will find sealed packs of cards in two different colors. You will choose one of these colors, and it will define you.

There is also a dashboard to keep track of your progress and changes you will have to make as you progress through the matches, turning Netrunner into a pseudo legacy style game.  So shuffle up those decks and get in some practice as you wait for the expansion to hit stores in Q1 of 2017, and you can check out the preview on FFG’s website.
