In this video, I run down my list of the Top 10 Solitaire Wargames that I played in 2024. These games included many that are designed for solitaire play only as well as a few of the games that I played solo but were designed for 2-player. They also included some Print and Play offerings as well.
I also wrote out this list on the blog and you can read that at the following link: https://theplayersaid.com/2025/05/07/grants-top-10-solitaire-wargames-of-2024/

Thank you for running through your T10. I love seeing your lists and your recommendations.
Previously, I purchased Operation Bollebank and Phantom Fury, based on your recs. My cousin in England picked those up for me and I secured them on the home front when we visited. PF I loved (frustratingly) and have now passed it on to my BFF (a retired Marine). Op Boll I just shelved after playing 4 games.
My friend (not knowing I was going to buy SAS Rogue Regiment based on your rec) gave me that game for Christmas and we got it on the table shortly after.
I’ve owned and sold I, Napoleon, having the same misgivings as you about the decisions available. I keep both Pac War and 1812 in my travel stuff and use them when on the road or when deep sea fishing (tuna).
You’ve tickled my fancy with Gift of the Nile and a little bit with Corvette Command. I’ll see what Nobel Knight has going for those, since I have a little credit with them.
I would have liked to see Lanzerath Ridge on your list — my current fav. But now, Bollebank put away, I’m setting up Atlantic Chase (overall fav) for an ftf game on Tuesday.
Love what you do,
jP
